AZOReS

If you are arriving in Ponta Delgada and we are fishing out of there we recommend you book a hotel or look for a Airbnb. If you are arriving in Horta there are a few options you can jump on hotels.com and there are some options, come August and September it is the high season so I recommend booking early. I also know of a bed & breakfast down the road a little ways if you are interested I can check availability.

(Below I have listed hotel links to places I recommend)

WHERE TO STAY

Ponta delgada

View of a marina with boats docked, a waterfront roadway, and a cityscape with buildings, some lit up, during dusk or dawn.

Horta

A panoramic view of a coastal city with a harbor, harbor structures, a bay, and surrounding green hills under a cloudy sky.

TRAVEL PLANS

From the United States, you can get a domestic flight from your city (United, Delta, American, etc)To Newark Airport (EWR)

From EWR you can find a direct flight to Ponta Delgada taking a United airline flight.

If there are no flights available from EWR direct you need to take a TAP Air Portugal flight from EWR -> LIS -> PDL

When you get to PDL I will have a taxi organized to pick you up.

If you happen to be in the later months end of August or September you will take an island hopper plane from PDL -> HOR Horta you will use Azores Airlines.

View from a boat on the ocean during sunset with a fishing rod in the foreground and a volcanic mountain in the distance.
Aerial view of a volcanic caldera filled with a lake, surrounded by lush green hills and patches of farmland, with a small village and forests, under a blue sky with some clouds.
